I have an old picture from a guy with a small rubber splash shield held on with plastic pins on a 74 Satellite. I think on other year/models there were molded plastic pieces but the same basic shape and also held on with push pins.

Can anyone confirm if they were used on earlier, 71-72, Satellites? Or if they were used on any years, 71-74, Chargers?

Thanks!

I think 71 used metal clip type push pins.

Thats them! Thanks Terry
After reviewing all the 71-74 service and parts manuals I'm gonna call this a 73-74 B body thing.

I've never seen it on a 71 ply
and i have owned 4 of them.

I agree with Flypaper for the '71. I'm sure they changed to push-in pin like for '73-'74

This design is 73-74 only. 71-72 is different. The inner fenders on these cars are different than 71-2. The 71-2 inner fenders are the same as an e-body. Keep in mind that from the firewall forward on a 73-74 was redesigned to accommodate the "ISO-mount K-Frame.

I have only seen those shields on 73-4 B-bodies as that area does not "exist" due to design on a 71-2 b-body.

Sorry read it further down and you got it already...
