I have spray bars in my valve covers that are fed from the oil ports in the back of the block.

I started typing and realized I need to ask some more questions.

Has it been drilled for hydraulic oiling?

Wedge Block?

IF No on hydraulic oiling then there is only one way, Valve Cover Spray bars, with T&D (paired shaft rockers). The line off the back of the block to each head (Valve cover)

If Yes on hydraulic oiling, then I would us pushrod oiling, T&D (paired shaft rockers).

I made a mistake and didn't order my Keith Black RB block for pushrod oiling so I had a local shop (Tom Hemphill) drill it for me so I could run both my 440-1 heads and B1 heads.

Depends on common shaft rockers or paired rockers.

Well you can oil it off the back of the block with spray bars, or have the block drilled for lifter oiling. Indy can also drill it for internal head oiling (like normal) I am sure other shops can do this also. You then install a jumper line to the right side of the block to get oil to both sides.Todd

I would never run spray bars with single shaft rockers. The only way to fix it with single shafts is to drill the oil passage in the block from the cam to the heads.

This is correct. Spray bars for multi shaft rockers only. If you are running a common shaft rocker you will have to drill it and either oil the pushrods or drill it for internal oiling and install jumper line internally.

You can have a non oiling block drilled for normal hydro tappet oiling. Have had several aluminum, and iron blocks done with perfect results

OR you can make individual lines to every lifter bore, which is propably easier and less expensive and can even be done at home.
