Putting new rod bearings in our 440, std. Sealed Power (#2320CP Vintage)

No oil slot for cyl. wall lube, necessary??

You can use a file and cut the slot on the end of the bearings. I have done it.. I think it would be a good idea to do it..

I dont use them on my race car or my street rod..
havent had any issues.. there is plenty of oil
flying around in there to lube the walls

I think I'll go ahead without them, general consensus is not needed with today's oil.

Plus it keeps more oil in the bearings where it is really needed.
