I plan to order a set of 1.5 ratio roller rockers for my 470 pump gas motor soon and would like to know if one or the other is better between Harland Sharp and Comp Pro Magnums. I'll be running a solid flat tappet cam and although I'm not quite sure of the exact size yet it will be in the .560 to .590 lift range.

A few years ago I was trying to decide between those exact two rockers and decided to go with the Harland Sharps because the Pro Magnums (IIRC) were bushed. The Harland Sharps have been great so far, but be sure to look them over before you install them if you decide to go that direction. The ones that I bought had lots of shavings in the shaft and weren't cleaned up very well.

For a street motor I'd probably lean towards a steel or iron rocker arm rather than aluminum but it might not really matter too much.

At that lift the old Isky or Crane nodular rocker arms should work fine if you can find a nice set.

I have used a bunch of different brands and type of rocker arms in my racing and street cars, Harland Sharp are good for both up
As far as your deal I would look at using the Harland Sharp 1.60 ratio rockers and buy a cam designed for that ratio up scope
BB Mopars, especially stroker motors with decent heads, really need all the air and fuel you can feed them to make the best power up

I'll be running a solid flat tappet cam and although I'm not quite sure of the exact size yet it will be in the .560 to .590 lift range.

If thats all you ever plan to do, use the comps, you will never hurt them and never worry about too much oil up top or needles in your motor.

If you plan to go heavy roller, high rpm HS.

Money is money I dont spend more then I need to, but thats just me.

Even the $500 china SS rockers that people use and ive heard nothing bad about would work in your case, not the al/needle ones the SS bushed units.

I have been running these Hughes roller tip rockers since June 2011 and have never had any problems at all. I run a solid flat tappet cam thats .585 and .592 lift. These have worked great for me and hold the adjustment just fine. Ron

I think I'm going to buy a set of the Hughes rockers. It seems like Andy said these were the best available in terms of being the correct length.

I've used the Comps on a flat tappet cam and now use HS on a .680-.660 solid roller...........

Hughs 1.5 have worked great with BB eddies and FT solids. They hold an adjustment very well and are great quality parts. I just didn't need the T&D's / Jesels and the cost. My cam isn't much over .550. I ran Isky and Crane iron rockers for many years without any probs. but I think Hughs were a step up in tuning and overall smoothness when I changed over the rocker assy only at that time.

Just curious...if you're buying new rockers, why not go with 1.6 ratio to gain some lift. It seems basically free. My next set will be 1.6. Good luck.
