I am having one heck of a time finding these bolts. I have googled for days. They are not a tapered under-head bolt like the 5.7s. They have a flat head and a locating shank under the head. Anyone know where to buy them without buying a new aftermarket tone wheel just to get a bolt? Thank you for any help...

Are you talking about a shoulder bolt? They look like this:

Yes sir. They are 6.1 Hemi specific I guess. The 5.7 tapered head bolts won't work on the 6.1 reluctor unfortunately...

You can't source them Mopar?

What about calling someone who sells the rings and asking them if they can order just the bolts>

Mopar wants to sell you an entire crankshaft. Obviously that's out of the question. My next move is to try and buy bolts from an aftermarket reluctor wheel manufacturer like you're suggesting...

If they are indeed shoulder bolts like the picture I posted they are a standard type of fastener. No need to go buying entire crankshafts. FCA doesn't make fasteners, they buy them from specialty manufacturers.

You need the diameter of the threaded part, the thread pitch, the diameter of the shoulder and the length of the shoulder from its end to the bottom of the bolt head. I'd start with Fastenal.

https://www.fastenal.com/content/product_specifications/STRIP.BO.pdf

This is just the first one that popped up. I'm sure they make hex head shoulder bolts. All available in both standard and metric sizes.
