I love it! Takes back to the first time I went to the drags in the early 80's! Perfect!!! My first drag race was also in the early 80s at the Pueblo divisional race. Loved watching the old modified eliminator cars. Thanks everyone for the compliments. Hope to take the car to the track soon.

now that's how I define overkill. Love It I would love to find a Triumph GT6 to put a G3 in. A buddy of mine has a 78 Challenger I've been trying to get for a G3 project.

Engine is just a stock 5.7 out of the bone yard. Trans is a 904 with the usual upgrades Cope RMVB,5 disc drum, & PTC converter. Just wanted to get the fab work, wiring, plumbing etc complete Plan is to build a high comp stoker next year. Not quite sure how fast I want to go. You planning on getting a time slip with the JY mule motor? Awww, come on...

You planning on getting a time slip with the JY mule motor? . Yes, need to get belts and helmet. My current helmet is expired which sucks since it was expensive and the one I want is back ordered till Dec. Also, need to work on some bugs with the charging system and finish some odds and ends. The JY motor has under 50k miles and seems to run really well. Kind of wish I had something else to put it in. That thing is awesome! Where in the world did you find a Colt that wasn't rotted to the ground? Is it gonna be a dedicated strip car, or are you going to put it on the street also? Keep up the good work. What is funny is I found my Challenger in the same state....NY The only rust is a small 1/2" spot on the inside rear wheel lip. It will a dedicated strip car. Originally it was going to be a street/strip car but I already have street car that I hardly drive.
