What's the opinion on a billet flexplate? Seems to go against the term "flex". I will need new ones for both my R3/W8 and KB/B1-MC engines, looking at Meziere billet or ATI Superplate.

I run the Meziere very nice flex plate. Beats the JW wheel that will come apart.

I would guess the "flex" is there for a reason: so that absolute perfect lateral alignment isn't needed. Remember: the difference between a slant 6 plate and a hemi plate isn't the material, it's the fasteners.

My JW Wheel had 1-1/2 season on it 2 years ago when it blew a chunk of ring gear off of it. So no there non-billet is junk no one should buy one Forest had one come apart last year too. If you are running a JW wheel good luck to you.
