Interesting! So Dick Bradshaw of bulldog fame has actually gotten his block cast? And M.M. Was part of it getting finished? If it's the same Dick! The old coot still owes me a set of valve covers and a valley plate. Wonder if the Buick crowd financed him!!!???

I know of at least one in addition to the one listed that has already been built and on the dyno. It is a Hemi and in my old 65 Belvedere running NSS

This isn't an actual "Mopar" product though, right?
This is "the block", joint venture between MM and several mystery investors, right?
After the whole debacle with Dalton Foundry and Royal Oak Boring, they should really be looking for a new home for the Chrysler tooling.

Any pics of one of these motors built? Hopefully he is not mad about this but here goes. There are quite a few really from bare block up, just not sure if he wants his stuff here. Made 850+hp IIRC. Will be in the old red 65 Belvedere we did a few years ago. Stepping up in NSS classes with the new bullet for sure..

Kinda wish I would have kept it but I have had a few cars I wish I would have kept. Was just a mundane 440 when we had it, went low 11's in Vegas. I picked it up with the intention of selling it. We painted it, had the interior panels and seat redone tidy up some small things and ran it at one race, where it R/U'ed Then on the sale block it went. Had it on here for a few months and just kept getting low balled and beat up about it. Was just a summer project for my son and I. Jim the new owner has done pretty well with it and it was in Dragzine article after he got it.

Don't forget the Oldsmobile guys I have a friend who is going thru some issues with this block and was able to contact Bradshaw and was given the same run around as usual, I will let him explain if he wants ....he is sick to his stomach over this and was trying to do things the right way. I think MM went out of business a month after he picked it up. Mr Bradshaw seems to have a perfect first Name

I'm sure I'm just naive about the ways of the world, along with being very narrow minded......... But when I heard who was behind/involved with "The Block", my internal response was...... "I'm out".

I wouldn't call that naive or narrow minded. I'd call that years of behaviors and business dealing to base your thought process on. It's my gut feeling. Almost every time I've gone against my gut I've been burned.

KB is def no better.
The guys who sent 1/2 price deposits and those who pre-paid in full helped keep that place afloat long enough for someone new to buy it.
If it weren't for all those deposits/purchases there wouldn't have been a company left to invest in.
They were in reality the first "investors"(unknowingly)........They just haven't rec'd any "dividends" yet.

FWIW the one I posted will be running at Milan this weekend if all goes well. That make two of these that I know of, well I guess three with the one MarkZ has. The new investors should get shares

If you do some research or even pick the phone up and talk to the investors of the New K B Company you would find out that the people that put their hard earned cash down before the company went basically none existent and the new people pulled it from the hubs of hell have received or are receiving their purchase of a KB Blocks. The new investors did not have to do this. What I have heard is there is one person that had put money down that has refused a KB Block for his own personal reasons.
