Don't forget the Oldsmobile guys

I have a friend who is going thru some issues with this block and was able to contact Bradshaw and was given the same run around as usual, I will let him explain if he wants ....he is sick to his stomach over this and was trying to do things the right way. I think MM went out of business a month after he picked it up.

Mr Bradshaw seems to have a perfect first Name

I'm sure I'm just naive about the ways of the world, along with being very narrow minded......... But when I heard who was behind/involved with "The Block", my internal response was...... "I'm out".

I wouldn't call that naive or narrow minded. I'd call that years of behaviors and business dealing to base your thought process on.

It's my gut feeling. Almost every time I've gone against my gut I've been burned.

KB is def no better.

The guys who sent 1/2 price deposits and those who pre-paid in full helped keep that place afloat long enough for someone new to buy it.

If it weren't for all those deposits/purchases there wouldn't have been a company left to invest in.

They were in reality the first "investors"(unknowingly)........They just haven't rec'd any "dividends" yet.

FWIW the one I posted will be running at Milan this weekend if all goes well. That make two of these that I know of, well I guess three with the one MarkZ has.

The new investors should get shares smile

If you do some research or even pick the phone up and talk to the investors of the New K B Company you would find out that the people that put their hard earned cash down before the company went basically none existent and the new people pulled it from the hubs of hell have received or are receiving their purchase of a KB Blocks. The new investors did not have to do this. What I have heard is there is one person that had put money down that has refused a KB Block for his own personal reasons.

Hey, let's get the topic back to bashing "The Block". There's another thread for bashing Keith Black. Take your pithy KB comments over there.

I'm only about half sarcastic about this.

"Bulldog" Dick Bradshaw gives me no warm-n-fuzzy about this endeavor, either. whistling

Well, I know it’s been a while but the Bulldog block was picked up in Dicks shop in Indianapolis last weekend. We have been back and forth and at times long periods of silence but emailing seemed to work out and he was good with pictures etc. It seems that the low deck I had ordered was part of the issue as it required different set up at his machine shop.
It will need to finish machined and gone through but at least I have it In my care and custody.I have been slowly been going over it’s dimensions and it appears to me there is still some work to be done. Time from 1st phone call to ready to be picked up 15 months. They do exist and there were a several other rb blocks with names on them ready to go. He had a couple of rb blocks that were not spoken for but both had defects ( 1 had casting flaw in 1 cylinder and one had a deck flaw and needed to go 10.70 to correct) Anyway, I am sure now that he’s rolling along the lead time will improve . I’ll try to load some pix during the week.

Cannot say yet but its unlikely I'm going to see over 900hp with original b1s at 526 cid ,it should hold its own for a while.
