The junkyard PA Superbird. After reading so much about it, it was awesome to see it in person. Ahh, the stories it could tell Great show this year. That bird just needs a little time at the AMD installation center and it will be good as new. The Daytona from Stephens Performance that was on Chop Cut Rebuild looked great, and was only in slightly better condition before they saved it.

All they need are the radiator support, cowl, and truck lip for a "full resto."

What did it originally have for an engine? I see it has a 3-speed wiper motor? (power brakes too (Hemi?) but that's not intake/air cleaner specific as much as the wiper motor except for the Hemi..I think?) Word is the car is an original 440-6 4-speed bird. Worth a pretty penny today if restored.

There was a thread on here about the car,and supposedly the owner of the junkyard that the car came from has the tags to the car. According to one of our members who knows the guy,and bought parts off the car for his Superbird, the numbers are not on another car.

That SuperBird has most likely been restored and has recieved a Best of show award. Owner did say he had the Fender tag and Sheet for the Bird.

Yes indeed, a little confused about it being a Super/Stock car but having a Division 5 competition number for Super/Street other than that a great Dart with a long history. I hope the owner gets the info he is looking for

Yes indeed, a little confused about it being a Super/Stock car but having a Division 5 competition number for Super/Street other than that a great Dart with a long history. I hope the owner gets the info he is looking for The doors are from a 71 Dart the plexiglass is stuff I bought at a swap meet as well as the grille, the fenders and hood are Kramer as well as the k-frame, and the deck lid and bumpers are off a 68 GT. The rest of it is real Hemi Dart. The guy spinning the tale is a whacky... I did get quite a few leads and history, it was definitely worth bringing it out. I could have sold it 1,000 times.

I thought the doors might have been from another car , thanks for the clarification. theres something cool about the car even as it is currently. I see you on Moparts I guess I should have introduced myself and talked to you about the car.
