I'm planning to install a 1/2 inch line in my car when I install an electric pump. I've got -6 hose from my mechanical pump right now, just bought the hose and fuel filter last year. I don't really want to drop another $200 bucks for more stainless hose, fittings, and fuel filter.
Is there an easy way to adapt the 1/2 inch line to accept a -6 hose? I don't really need the 1/2 inch line but I don't want to go through the trouble of running a new line and use 3/8.
Now I need to pin those needles, got to feel that heat Hear my motor screamin while I'm tearin up the street

I would buy the female hydraulic steel fitting (nut and sleeve) to put on the 1/2 line, if it is steel, aluminum fittings if it is aluminum, and a #6 to #8 male union and hook the two lines together I've done that with larger AN lines with no issues

Is the half inch line metal or hose? If metal is it aluminum, steel or stainless steel? I use soft aluminum lines a lot on both my street and strip only cars and I use the AN fittings on them, I did use steel on my current street project car and it was a lot harder to work with bending, forming and making it fit the car like the original line did Aluminum would have been a lot easier and quicker

Don't mess around with more connections to cause leaks, I use the correct fittings and AN flaring tool! The D suffix means aluminum. Just delete the D for steel. Parker sells steel one under the JIC standard. AN815-8D AN818-8D AN819-8D and a rotoflare!
after reading your post, the half inch hard line would be severely restricted with -6 hose, you would want -8
