Still working on the bodywork but took a little break from the block sanding and made a filler between the grill mount and radiator support. I borrowed the idea from another member. I need to weld a small plate around the hood latch and install a few fasteners before I paint it.
Thanks
Pat

I love that filler panel at the hood latch. Very clever!

Thank you!

3rd and maybe final coat of primer on the hood and tops of both fenders? Very happy with all the gaps. This bodyworks part of the build sucks, I'm starting to get Popeye the sailor man forearm ;-)
We also have a new addition to the family :-)
Thanks
Pat

Mud work is done on the passenger side, and I sprayed 3 coats of high build primer now it's ready for some blocking sanding and another 3 coats of high build primer.
Thanks
Pat

I was hoping to post an update but it looks like photobucket is holding all of my photos hostage for a $400 a year payment to use their so-called free site :-(

it says your photobucket account needs updating to allow 3rd party hosting.

Unfortunately photobucket has change their policy and is holding my photos hostage for a $400 a year fee. I'm not sure I'll be able to retrieve the photos but I will come up with a new program moving forward. Sorry
Pat

Pat - I hope you have your photo's still saved somewhere else!. Love this thread and the work you are doing.

Lots of forums I frequent the posters have also gotten screwed by photobucket and the pics are lost.

Ron,

Thank you so much for the very generous offer! This is not about the money for me, it's all about an online company changing the rules and expecting people to pay and I'm just not going to do it. What's to keep them from upping the charge every year, so I'm not interested in participating in their greed.
Thank you
Pat

With the bodywork close to being finished I started fitting the bumpers. Both ends needed to bent out a fraction to be parallel with the quarter panel. Then I cut about a 1/4" off of each side for a better fit. Paul's Chrome will de-chrome the bumpers and then finish the welding, they will also weld on the studs for the mounts.
Thanks
Pat

Pat - the bumper mod looks nice!

Glad to see you posting again. This is my favorite build and I'm an ebody guy!

I wish I had saved your pictures of the upper radiator support bracing mod you did.
