Everytime you come out with a new product you incorrectly post it in the restoration forum because you know it will get more views until a Mod sees it and moves it to the correct forum. You know this should be posted in the "New Products forum" but you never do it yourself. It just amazes me that the Mods let you abuse this site this way. Us common folk would get reprimanded for this.

Actually "hemi70se" you are the one who is incorrect. If you go to the New Products section, you will see that there is no way to start a new post. The way it works is that you post it here FIRST. THEN a mod moves it to that section. Tony is doing it correctly.

Agreed,.... It would be nice if we could post in the new products forum about a new item release, but one is "stuck" dropping their advertisement in the resto or general forum, in order to have a mod move it for them

besides I think it's great that an item gets posted in either of these forums, as I often forget to check the "new products" forum, so new arrivals often go unseen for weeks or months

I have no problem with it being posted here; it rarely occurs to me to scout the New Products forum. It's also nice to generally see that the list of resto parts is growing.

thanks for the compliments on the part

to use the factory type rivet requires a special tool,
i figured everybody has the standard rivets and a rivet gun, but for those who wanted the correct rivets at least i supplied them but its up to you to get the gun.
