Restoring a car and wanted to get a new vacuum advance. Having trouble locating a repop of these. Probably the same at the 383. Classic Industries sell vacuum advances but do not seem to have what I need. Do not want to spend what some people are asking for NOS ones on ebay....anyone know someone repopping these?

Thanks

I dont have a source but would a new one that looks the same on the outside work for you? You can shorten the travel by building up (reduceing) the notch width on the arm to limit the total adv it offers & you can lengthen it somewhat to increase it and you can turn the inside allen screw with a 3/32" allen wrench to change the amt of vacuum needed for the adv starting and stopping points all to get it closer to your OE can specs. otherwise here's a BTT for ya.

Need to know this as the 4 speed used a Prestolite distributor.
