Any one here ever had any wheels custom made ? I can't seem to find any ready made to fit my 33 Plymouth so the only option seems to be to have some custom built. From doing some research on the web, I see that Budnik Wheels in California makes custom wheels. Any body have any experience doing this ?

Stockton wheel makes and modifies wheels. You may consider giving them a call.

Excuse my ignorance, but what's so unique about a '33 Plymouth wheel mounting?

Here is the problem I have. My front end is a FatMan MustangII frt. My rear suspension is out of a 1990 T-Bird SuperCoupe. Even after I widened my rear fenders 2" I still need a wheel with 6"or 7" offset and only 1" toward the front. In order to get a wheel large enough to clear the upper a-arms and calipers it has to be 16" or larger. Every company that builds those wheels does not make a matching set for the front. The front has to be no larger than 15" and no wider than 5" with a 4" offset in order to clear the fenders and calipers, and upper a-arms. My wife insists that all 4 wheels are the same design. Budnik wheels want $1800.00 for 4 wheels made to my measurements so I guess that is where I am headed.

You do know that the front and the rear have two different bolt patterns, assuming that you kept the stock patterns.

They say there are no such thing as a stupid question.
They say there is always the exception that proves the rule.
Don't be the exception.

I had a machine shop re-drill the rear hubs and rotors to match the front.

CCW makes some very nice wheels. You're gonna pay for them though. $600+ per wheel.

But they sure do look good!

They can do custom backspacing, widths, bolt patterns, etc.
