Talked to a few dealers today. Many are selling them for MSRP plus huge order and delivery fees(one was $20k total). If you are smart and diligent you can find one for MSRP, at dealers like Gwinnet Dodge in Stone Mtn Georgia...

I saw that Dodge was going to prioritize the delivery by the price sold.

The big markup cars will be build last if at all.

Well from what we found they are all selling at MSRP. It dealer added costs which Dodge wont see that they are adding in. Such as ordering and delivery fees..

Paying the big mark up just doesn't work out in most cases.

I know a guy who bought a Viper when they first came out.
Paid a huge mark up to get it....... And then he "saved it"....... Probably hoping it would go up in value.
I'm pretty sure he said its got like 1,800 miles on it now......... And he knows he'd have a hard time getting half of the sticker price...... Not including the mark up.

As a matter of principle..... I'm not paying over MSRP for anything.

20-ish years ago when Harley's were a little tough to get, the local dealer had a pretty good selection on the floor.
They had one I would have bought, but wanted like $1500-2000 over MSRP.
I just bought something else instead.

I think anyone remotely novice about Torque and its adverse affects on driving would be smart to have a hired gun driver with them. It's not the horses that will make these cars drunk out of the hole, it's the torque.
I know of one that will be going through some rough house testing at a secret location very soon.
I suspect because of the trans brake feature that no stick versions will be available or needed.
