These Lunati's.

What about the Comp Cams roller lifters? I see they offer a few different part numbers, which ones do I need for a big block?

Cam is a Cam Motion roller with 705/661 lift, 281/283 at .050, 500" low deck with 440-1 heads.

I'm asking about these 2 as I can get a good discount on these. I have 2 sets of roller lifters, but I'm not sure if I should send them in to get freshened, or just sell a set and put money with it to get new ones.

And no I can't afford red zones.

Prosport, I called Dave at Koffels and he suggested the comp 829-16 lifters. I got a set from a place on ebay for 399.00 shipped.

I would look into Crane or Crower lifters. Crower has oiling to the roller

It may not be required, but with a low deck block, 440-1 offset rockers, and a roller cam, I would think hard about lifters with offset pushrod seats (intake). Yea, it is easy to spend somebody elses money...

When we put mine back together at BG's place we used the 87019-16 Comps that are offset. I think they are the same as the 829's but without the oil hole. They really make that angle look a lot better. Don't know how good they are, but I guess I will soon find out.
