Hooking up my MSPRO on my Hemi and I have a question for those with experience in these matters. The CKP sensor ...MS wiring diagram calls for 12 volt switched power, while the factory uses 5 volt reference. Will the factory sensor live on 12 volts? will MS function properly if I use the 5 volt reference for power to this(and the CMP) sensor?
Thank You bow

Not a Gen III car but I am using 5v for my crank sensor and cam sensor on my MS3X injected small block. No issues there.

Make sure your diagram or whatever you are referencing is the latest revision. I am pretty sure it needs 5v, I would definitely hesitate putting 12v to any engine sensor.

Pretty sure I'm using 5v reference on mine.

Use the 5v. I used 5v on my ms3x, as directed by diyautotune.

My wiring is all posted here (and the 12v ref is on this diagram as well, but NOT what I did)

Who did you buy from? What did they say?

Purchased from diyautotune, the 12v reference didn't sound right to me ... that's why I posted the question. Based on the replies, I have connected crank, cam, and tps sensors to 5v reference voltage circuit. Thank You to all that have replied. Can't wait to fire this thing up!
