...and receive a heart transplant once the weather stays decent. Just bought a couple engines and a big block pushbutton trans for the old girl so once I round up some more parts; ie. headers, crossram and what not she'll be pushing larger cubes than the poly 318 in her now. Stay tuned.

Looks great. A friend was trying to pickup a 63 wagon this weekend.

Combo will be either 413 or 426 wedge with pushbutton. I have either engine but just saving up for the max wedge parts now.

Engine has come together and just got a fresh coating of race hemi orange, could not afford the crossram for now but this inline will do. Engine is a early 413 and with build should be pretty stout. Going through pushbutton now and having torque converter built. Just received the matched carbs and just put in a 3.91 sure grip rear. I cannot wait to put driveline in and take for test run.

Put on these style of valve covers right now because I found they clear the headers and wire looms will keep wires off headers

Brought wagon out of storage for Spring the other day. Have decided along with putting in new driveline to go ahead and redo some of the body. I had bought a great set of fenders off a member here awhile back and started sanding them down to replace my patchwork originals today. Noticed also that my passengers side door has some major rust issues. So have just decided to go ahead and do things right, strip car down with all glass out and paint it this year. Wish me luck.

Sweet!

I know how it is with the fenders! I patched up my original drivers side fender for my '63 330 and then later found a nice rust free unit. All that work for nothing!

My 330 is going to stay flat black for a while as well.

plan is to work my way back and have painted in a "shiny" coat as my wife puts it in a couple months of spare time. Fenders were etch primed today as well as straightening the lower splash pan and priming. Next weekend I plan on dragging car to shop and priming and painting engine bay. Then....

I am so lucky to have some buddies that own a body shop that give me access to use all their stuff as long as I clean up and pay for what I use. Thanks Michelsons Autobody!

Why do you think I had to replace the front fenders? LOL

Well committed myself to doing the wagon right this time. Pulled most of glass, rear bumper, trim and interior today. Should be even nicer this go around.

Working on a replacement door for ps. Skin is really bad and already has patches in it so I cut out window frame from door and will be grafting it in to a rust free ht door I had laying around.

Was hoping new rear pans would have welded themselves in by now but no such luck. Next step measuring, trimming, fitting and welding.

I love seeing a wagon being done. This one is just badazz. Don't know why it caught my eye, it is hard to explain but it is one I will be watching...the black and white do look great.

THanks Goat. I've been a wagon lover since as long as I can remember and this one has been my favorite. I am wanting to get it really straight and go with a deep glossy black for that sinister look. I've thought of a few different colors that would look nice but really want the car to look evil and perform like it also.

I agree on the black and it will look great but I like the hot rod flat black also. They both are sinister looking. I was going to do my Duster all black and put the true fire blue colors to put a skull on the front plate and call it sinister. Keep up the work and keep posting pics.

Bolted in replacement door today to align so I can get window frame spaced correctly before welding.

Well car is now COMPLETELY apart. Took it over to a buddies place and we've started smoothing it out and replacing rear floor pans. Pans are almost done but when started sanding rear quarters found that the shop that welded in my lower patch panels warped the heck out of them. There was not a flat section to be found. So after alot of sanding and massaging their coming along nicely. They have a skim coat on them now and hopefully can be saved for some gloss black paint. Rest of car is very nice with minimal putty in it. Had bought a set of rust free fenders and my doors are really nice also. If we can get lower 1/4s right its going glossy black. Wish me luck and probably better yet....PATIENCE.
