has anyone done one yet? it should be able to go to 3.90 if cut for a 2 inch journal. does any know if the 6.4 crank will take a Honda 1.88 journal.

Just did one to 3.79. I believe 3.90 would be possible with a Honda journal. All depends on the oiling holes.

You won't get to 3.900 by going to a 2.000 journal, maybe 3.830.
I have a 6.1 crank that I had ground to 3.795 with a 1.888 rod journal, I would have to see the oil passages in a 6.4 crank to see if it could be done

Nascar uses a small journal like that, but I would be more worried about overlap.


Also, the nitriding of the crank would be long gone by the time you cut one down that far.

from what I've been reading a lot of it depends on stroke length , the longer the stroke the less power.
Some interesting discussing's about it on different websites, Yellow bullet for one.
