I'm sure this has been answered before but with my elephantine memory I just can't remember. What's the correct band adjustment using an Aluminum front drum? Is it different than the iron or steel units?
I'm going up to balmy Key West tomorrow (where's the penguin under the palm tree icon when you need it?) to help Maxumus Wedges swap out a low gear set on his TF race unit. Dave

I don't adjust mine any different than from a steel unit. It has always worked well for me.

no different than a steel drum i usually go 1 1/4 with the 4.2 ratio arm.

I think Rick Allison told me to tighten it to 70 inch pounds then back off a 1/4 turn.
