I would recommend using a Chrome box..
I ran a gold box on the street for just a few miles in traffic... it didnt like it, it was the resistor that was the problem... it got SUPER hot, where I thought it was going to burn up. I ended up pulling off to the side and let it cool. Even in the Mopar book it says it shouldnt be street driven

After how long are these burning out?- I've got about 600 miles of .5 hour to 1.5 hour cruises on mine. I do try and keep the revs over 2500 while cruising for the most part though.
Higher RPMs helps by reducing saturation time but your living on the edge...

When I first started veiwing Moparts FBO was talked about in every ignition post as a must have...For the last year & a half all I hear is people pulling it off cause it has so many problems...
