Trying to find one to duplicate the foam gaskets to make a heater box rebuild kit. It's the last one I need and apparently the hardest to locate. Nothing here in the parts forum, nothing on ebay or Craigslist. Where else to look?

Thanks
Jim Fillmore

FOUND ONE at a local pick and pull here in the Detroit suburbs yesterday. Been raining like hell here but I was able to get it out in a couple hour window between storms. Was a nasty old truck and LUCKILY 2 young guys (can you believe that, 2 young guys in a junkyard?!?!) needed the bench seat outta this 83 Ramchahrger. I helped them a bit and they loaned me their Makita battery powered cutoff tool (I HAVE to get one) or I would have never been able to remove the box.

So now I have every heater box 61-71, 72-81 and 82-93. Just have to finish the 72-81 AC and NON AC rebuild kits. All the others are done.

Also got a hood pop up spring so I can make them from stainless and a nice hood pad so I can reproduce a nice version of those.

Weekend? Whats a weekend cept time to get sh%& done! smile

I know someone who had the AC box out of a 79, I don't remember if it's back in or not yet. he's in the middle of body work.
I obviously couldnt' find gaskets when I had mine apart for a heater core.

Glad you found one sir. I am restoring my Dad's old 74 d100 w/ ac. I am interested in purchasing these gaskets from you once you have them ready.

I have the 61-71 NON AC truck and 64?-70 A100 van/truck heater box rebuild kits done. Very similar but different.

Have the 82-93 AC done. Recently added a bunch of vent foams, and there were a bunch, that a customer made me aware of and loaned to me to duplicate. I usually just get the heater box and dont have access to the whole vehicle.

Just wrapped up the 82-93 NON AC kit.

Just got the tooling in today to finish the 72-81 NON AC box. I'll try to get that done this weekend.

And yep I was lucky enough to get find that 72-81 AC box local but with the Spring Nationals in Hebron Ohio and Mopars in the Park in Farmington, Minnesota coming up I'm slammed getting ready. But I'll TRY to squeeze it in.

Out of curiosity what is difference in 72-80 AC and 82-93 AC boxes? I have a 93 cab that I am planning on swapping in a 73 dash. Was hoping to keep the 93 blower box, but haven't torn anything apart to see if this is possible.

This is awesome! Just bought a 75' Adventurer SE with AC. I'll be needing one of those kits.
