I got a good motor from a 2011 2500 with no mds and need to put it in a 1500 with MDS what happens if I just swap in the lifters and solenoids with the non MDS cam? It looks like the specs are barey any different. The cam from the MDS engine is ate up on a lobe and I already have a new lifter.

As far as I know the cams themselfs are not different. At least when I worked at a Dodge dealer they did not say in training that the cams themselfs were different that I remember. Ron
