I`ve been checking the weather for Famoso several times a day for weeks and it looks like it might be a go so, based on my new sig numbers, does anyone care to take a stab at my HOPEFUL 9-sec. et? My best of 10.09 in may of 05 looked like this; 1.414 60 ft. 4.093 330 6.387 1/8th @ 107.12 10.09 @ 131.97 mph.....So, based on my old #`s compared to my sig #`s what do you guys think? THANKXX..........  Forgot...if it matters my new 330 et was 3.983....

If the Dart does not run the number your looking
for, don't sell it, just replace more steel body
panels with fiberglass and get the weight out of
the car.

I'd say throw a can of " Motor Honey" in there and you'll be running low 9's in no time..... ...of course...always remember to adjust your dual wave dipsticks before each pass. If you run the style with chromium sliders, you need an oscilliscope, but I am guessing you may only be running the standard mild steel version?...  Good luck and go knock it down !

If conditions are the same as your old best, It WILL run; 9.779 at 133.9 mph. If conditions are worse than before then; 9.831 at 133.2 mph. Good luck

I think that you WILL get into the 9's with ease! My 408ci small block Koffel's Place engine with a 904 transmission, 8 3/4 rear end with 4.86 gears, and 33X16X15 slicks; I am in the 9.79 -9.83 range. Here is one of my ET slips from the Norwalk Chrysler Classic.

The air looks great, 31% humidity and 30.10 Baro. as is now. Should be about the same tomorrow with air temps around 60* or so. If this track hooks the same as the track you ran your 1/8 mile bests at. I see a possible et anywhere from a 9.78 to 9.88 if you dont run into any mechanical problems or other gremlins. Im behind you all the way and hope you get your 9.?? sec. time slip. I know your cars capable of it. If all goes well it Will happen, mike

Famoso is as smooth as any national event track in the nation....the Boswers actually had it done twice(first time didn't meet NHRA specs) last time it was resurfaced about 3 years ago....it's also one of the widest tracks in the country.

If you can equal your best 1/8 et and the car can run the back half .......9.76 If not and the car has no problems...... 9.80's for sure. Good luck!

Well, it is halfway through the morning here on the East coast. This time zone thing is a pain... LOL
There is no doubt his car will run a 9 second quarter mile. It has done the 1/8th mile part and it isn't geared to blow up in the 1/4 (4.11 gears). The question is 9.9, 9.8, or 9.7

50 lashes thats it.thats weeek.i have a very high tolerance for pain.try 60 and ill tap out.i have my glasses on,i can take them off and turn capps on if you like. are we going threw withdrawls or what.dom you better get in here.lol
