It's setting up to be a pump gas 547" procharged (d1x) motor. It's not going to be an all out race deal just a healthy street/strip ride. The rods are 2.2" The heads are the stage v replacement heads cnc'd by FHO. I'm still waiting for the numbers but IIRC the are 470/330. Once the mach up is done the pistons will go out for coating. I'm sure it will be on going for a bit but all the pieces are finally here.

Tim sent me some head flow #"s. Hopefully I can get them posted as they are in excel. I converted them to word. Seems to work.

Those are some great numbers! I noticed that you are using the 2.30" intakes and 1.90" exh. Do the Titanium tulip intake valves flow better than stainless? Looking at the first picture in your post, it appears that the CNC pattern has been smoothed out. How much does that improve the flow? Again, those really have great flow numbers! Congrats.

I'm very please to say the least. I never asked Tim why he used the tulip valve but I'm sure it's for flow. He's the man when it comes to the motor I'm just the bank Tim hand finishes every port and chamber. He also flows every finished port and tweaks them. According to Tim the slightest variant will cause fluctuations in port flow as well as the valve job.

I was down at FHO yesterday. My pistons arrived so everything has been balanced. The block is getting it's final hone. The heads have the valve job done. They just need final assembly. Shouldn't be long now. I may even make it out for the first race.
Stig Jr, Very nice, Tim does great work & always easy to deal with. If & When, I will go back to Tim for the next motor. When you see him, tell him Mark from England says hi.
