Would love to see some pictures of it again. I believe it was an orange car?

I don't have any pics of the underside but it looked like a stock B-body setup, very nice. I am probably going to build one for my Duster as a spare hood, I think it looks fantastic, the factory should have offered it. There's also a Ramcharger version out there, just as cool but not as unique looking without the hood raised.

WOW!! what a hood setup. I've never seen that b4. If someone would get jiffy and make that available as a kit, Im sure there'd be some takers. Man, that is sooooo cool! Like ti know the story behind that hood, as in how much modification, what parts were used, etc.

The Ramcharger hood would be fairly simple, just buy a reproduction underhood box setup from BEA Parts and trim your hood to fit it, add an oval air cleaner, done!

The other one would require some body mods to add the bulge in the hood, then the rest would go on pretty easy.

Hey, that one's different than the one my brother did. I might be partial, but I like my brother's better.

48Heap,

You mean this one? Actually I believe the first one I posted pics of IS your brothers old car, it's just been re-restored with some changes.

Could be wrong, but I don't think that's Steve's car. I remember seeing pictures that popped up a couple of years ago that showed the car with similar stripes to what it had when sold, and 17" "Ralley" wheels. Color is wrong, and his had the Roadrunner air grabber setup under the hood, the first pictures you posted looks like a Super Bee setup under the hood.

Wish I had kept those pictures.

Car was sold some time ago, went to an auction, and ended up in Reggie Jackson's collection (I think). Don't know where it is now.

Here is a clip of the article about the car. Unfortunately, it doesn't show a picture of the bottom of the hood.

Looks like I misunderstood. I didn't see that you had posted pictures of two different cars.

The first pictures you posted could be of my brother's old car. Car sure has changed since the last time I saw it, if so. Still had the strobe stripes and some big chrome wheels then. Where were those pictures taken?

Wonder if it still has the pistol grip ratchet shifter.

I believe those pics were taken at Spring Fling in S. California, I think the car is still in that area. That is one and the same car as the article above shows "Cargasm".

Years ago with my first new car a 93 duster (p body) I was going to create a fresh are ram charger hood for it. But it never got past the idea phase. The one pictured above is awesome.

Heres a shot from the thread where the car first surfaced again. Shows some of the under hood.

Looks like my memory was wrong, it didn't have the strobe stripes at that time anymore.

Has to be the same car.

Don't mind the size, but I don't like the style. I'm actually a big fan of big wheels, but I don't like the look of these. To each his own.

Front end needs to come down, too.

Ditto, I like big wheels for sure... 18"s are the perfect wheel in my mind

I just think those wheels on that car look horrid. And as you mentioned... it's 4 wheel drive time it looks like

Were those the only pictures of the orange Duster? Or just the ones that showed the airgrabber hood?

Really like to see some shots that show more of the car.
