have some oil that has dripped on the headers.

how do I clean these up? triple 000 steel wool takes it off quickly enough, but does dull the finish.

I use aluminum wheel polish on my tti's, with typical blue shop towels and a lot of elbow grease. Don't know if a plastic dish washing pad would help or not, I might try that myself in an out of plan sight place sometime.

I use a wet SOS pad. Takes it off easily and polishes at the same time.

Carb cleaner (not brake clean) and aluminum wheel polish.

I use a product called "Quick Glo". Saw it on I think Jay Lennos garage and it did amazing things. Decided to give it a try for some old Harley rims I had. It worked so when I had a oil leak on my TTI's I gave it a try and worked perfect again. Non abrasive, and you use a soft cloth. Made by a local guy in Louisiana I think in his basement. Good Stuff and not expensive

Fast Orange hand cleaner. Smells nice, you probably already have some, and works well. TTI actually suggests it in their information as well. Think about it, it is just like polishing compound.

hmmm.... good idea. never thought of that.

I found some chrome polish I had around, and that did the trick. will remember this for next time though...
