There is no VIN on a BH426 or CH426 block. If you mean just any 1966 casting, the ones that got into 1968 production are stamped at the rear of the block, top, on the bellhousing mating flange. There are some pictures that show this.

Thoughts in early Vs later production 68 cars with or without a vin???
I've had a few 10/31/66 blocks that went into 68 cars with VINs.
