The 440 has a Elderbrock Performer Intake,,, it gets stained up quite often, If I paint it, should I use a primer, or just the high temp Hemi Orange paint? Thanks for your info...

Make sure it's ULTRA clean and just use the high temp orange paint....there are two orange colors for Mopar engines.

I paid the little extra and got it jet hot coated...looks the same after 7 years on the car, nothing sticks to it and super shiny while cooling it down
