The parts for my coil on plug set up are starting to show up.. the Holley wiring harness showed up this morning.. the crank sensor mount will show up tomorrow.. I already have the sensor itself.. the parts for the tone wheel and dist set up are on the way.. I'm getting a little geeked up to get this thing set up and running.. I better finish up the coil mounts.. I should have one of them done today.. my coil harnesses will be in maybe on Monday.. being that this set will give me true sequential firing I am hoping it will give me a little better fuel economy... once this is done then I want to pull the W-2 heads and change over to the Indy 360-2 heads.. I have the W-2 intake for that head so it should work.. that will drop 40# off the front end

Trendz... I got your tone wheel and dist sinc today..they look nice.. thanks.. now you need to tell me the tab.. I'm still waiting on the 2 short coil harnesses.. got the Holley harness today.. I will need to cut down my pulley to the thickness for your wheel..no biggie

Hi Mike,
Any updates on your Holley CNP Project?
I will order my HP EFI box from Rich soon, and will install in Randy's car first, work out all of the issues, then finish the install in my Hemi Super Bee project.
I am thinking about buying the Holley Dual Sync Distributor instead of converting my MSD distributor...I really want the Hall effect sensor for Cam sync, and there is just no room to install a sensor on the Jesel belt drive. I do want to keep the MSD Crank wheel, and use the Holley Hall sensor. So, I would just use the Cam sync in the Holley distributor.
Then, later on, try the CNP on the Hemi Super Bee.
I will get with Trendz, and purchase his knowledge on using dual Corvette PWM Fan controllers, and also his program for control in the Holley HP.
Keep us informed of your progress!
BR, Mark

I have all the parts that are needed.. crank sensor and the mount.. dist sinc.. all the wiring.. all I have to is machine down my pulley for the thickness I need(1/4" off it).. I finished up the injector mounts today and the valve covers are back on the engine.. I have to ask Trendz about 1 wire on each bank.. I cant find it on the schematic from Holley.. I know there is a fused red that ties into both banks.. but this red is not fused and its part of the harness... the fused wire is larger and is separate from the harness.. I know where the larger one goes...cant find where that smaller red wire goes... yet EDIT I forgot.. I have to machine a tooth off the tone wheel

Mount the crank sensor first. Don't remove any teeth until the sensor is mounted and the engine is at true tdc.
What is the harness part number that you are having a problem with? Did you get the PDF I sent?

When you get the ecu from Rich, he will most likely have a base tune in it. You or he can send me the Global file, and I can set the parameters for the fan output. He may already have this info, so you may not need me at all. You will consume 1 of the 4 programmable outputs doing this. Two controllers can be controlled by one output signal.

Hi Trendz,
When I talked with Rich, he had only been working with relays on dual fans...I am looking to control each fan with a corvette PWM controller, and have two PWM outputs controlling each fan controller independently. So I will have soft-start on fan one, gradually moving to control temp, then fan two to help out fan one, soft-start with ramp up as needed.
I am wanting eng. temp control to reduce inrush current and to reduce total current loads on the battery/alternator system.
I think this will be your area of expertise!
Mark
PS: I am wanting to pay you for your assistance, as this is going to take some of your time to set up the temp curves to do what I am looking to do...including some needed phone consulting.

That can easily be done, but you will consume both of the (-neg) outputs. No problem as long as you don't need to control any other outputs with a ground. The HP only has 4 outputs, 2 can be configured as (-neg) outputs and 2 can be (+pos) outputs. If you need more than that, get a Dominator.

Hi Trendz,
I can't think of needing any more than 4 outputs, and two will be only needed for the two fans.
I do have a Meziere electric water pump, however that will be turned on with a relay when the key/ign switch is turned on. I want the Water pump running all the time when the key is turned on. I have tried to run it off of a switch and a temp sensor, but it was a waste of time, because you always want water circulation when the key is in the run position.
Since the Key/Ignition switch cuts the run circuit out, I have a separate lighted rocker switch that controls a Ron Francis fuse/circuit panel that controls the ECU, MSD (key signal), water pump, and misc items. The "normal" rest of the car is controlled by the original wiring harness(s) and small fuse panel.
Start/Retard will now be controlled by the ECU, so I don't need any other output controls...inputs maybe, however it would never be more than two. Unless you have any ideas?
Mark

What is the harness part number that you are having a problem with? Did you get the PDF I sent? Rick I did get that PDF.. its the same as I have..PN 588-307.. it shows the 14 gauge that goes to B14 which Ts and is the fused red.. it shows it going to both banks on the ignition harnesses .. then on the 5580307 harness itself there is a smaller red.. its on both harnesses.. this is the one that I dont understand.. it is not fused.. I'll send a pic to your e-mail

Hi Mike, How may of the input and outputs are you currently using on your Holley HP? and do you have plans to use more for other items?
Mark I think I might use 1 more.. but thats about it unless I want to spray it
