Anyone running 572-13 heads with jesel rockers the set I have I have had since 2009. Had to order a new intak and exhaust rocker and they hit side of valve cover. Either they redesigned them or I got wrong rocker. If anyone has a fairly new set could you post a picture. If they redesigned them would think they would fit Indy valve covers

I have Jesel 440-1 rockers, originally bought them in 1998. They have changed my rocker design, but swear up and down they didn't. Either that or they sent me the wrong rockers! They are marked properly according to thier system, so I figure they changed them and refuse to admit it. The replacements they sent are't any where close to right for the proper pushrod length that i am running with the ones i originaly bought from them, or the replacements i bought in the past.

The rockers I have came on an Indy crate engine and has a couple of replacments. I have the cast indy rocker covers and the rockers just touch enough to leave a small shiney spot if you don't push the covers up when tightening.

My original did same thing took die grinder and fixed that but these won't let valve cover go down all way. Really gonna have to grind on cover if I got correct rocker

I have 572-13 heads with 1.7 Jesel intake rockers which I bought in 2013. Indy cast covers and no contact anywhere.

I have 1.6 Jesel arms on my 572-13's. Yep the valve covers needed clearencing on the push rod side. I'm guessing higher ratio rockers have the "input" length closer to the fulcrum (shorter) and hence don't need the valve cover modified.

Jesel has changed their profiles over the years so it is possible that what used to clear doesn't anymore. Also, as others have pointed out it really depends on the ratio.

My 1.85 rocker arms clear the valve covers by a mile. The 1.70 rockers will clear if they have the boat tail option but the old square back 1.70 rockers will not clear. A 1.60 or 1.50 rocker arm most likely isn't going to clear without some work.
