I have noticed that most 1971 'Cuda K frame's I research on the internet have the sway bar going through the K frame and mine doesn't look like that at all. It looks like some drilled through the K and bolted the sway bar to it. After searching the internet it looks like my car has an earlier B body style K frame. Can anybody confirm what I have. Thank you. If its wrong is the sway bar correct or do I need that too ?

Wow. Just when you think you've seen everything.

Yes that is a 69 or earlier k-frame. That probably is the factory ebody/70-72 bbody sway bar since the width look to fit the Ebody/70-72 bbody LCA's.

You can buy new reproduction sway bar bushing U-shaped brackets.

Thank you,
I just ordered new sway bar parts from Bill Rolik yesterday since the bushings and U shaped brackets were crushed that's when I started my Goggle search and realized something didn't look correct. I guess I'm looking for a correct 383052 K frame.

Any 70-74 ebody or 71-72 b-body V-8 kmember will interchange (not hemi). Some 74 ebody k-members have weird brackets near the motor mounts. And 440 and 440-6 k-members will have skid plates for their deeper oil pans.

Thanks again,
So according to that thread it looks like my geometry is off also...great. Time to post that want ad. Looks like those parts from Bill Rolik will have to wait a while before they get used.
