Q5 Hemi Runners:
There sold one on ebay.com lately. Steering column auto car
Another one will be auctioned soon at Mecum. It is listed on Hemmingss currently IIRC
Another one lived in the LA area and belonged to Kenn F.

Just quickly out of my head

1969 HEMI Road Runner convertibles per GG: RM27J9G
6 = US spec. automatics (Q5, Y2)
4 = US spec. 4-speed (F5, F8)
2 = CANADA spec

I don't have full fender tag or b'cast sheet info for any of them blush

the above listed totals was for less than 10% of production - I currently have organized data of the following Q5 HEMI Road Runners

4 - coupes (RM21J9 - Q5)
2 - hardtops (RM23J9 - Q5)
1 - convertible (RM27J9 - Q5)

I remember it when it was on ebay 10-12 years ago for 55k IIRC.
I had 69 Hemi Bee in Q5, too. Hardtop automatic with 4,10 Dana.
Still lives in Europe

I keep checking back on this thread hoping someone will post some pictures of these bad boys. My 69 is Q5 but, it's just a lowly 383 car.

The more accurate description would have been 1 of 6 automatics.
This car will be at the Spring Fling Woodley Park Van Nuys CA April 8
Come out and see the restoration by Graveyard Carz.

I saw this fine example this past October at the Fall Fling in Van Nuys (Los Angeles). I'm a little confused on the colors. The one on GYC seemed a lot more blue. Could it be the lighting? Which is this? Is it Q5? Is this the same car?

Same car.

TV can mess with certain colors.

That's why the Nash Bridges 71 cudas were that wierd school bus mustard yellow color

The pilot was shot with the cars in curious yellow. And it looked bad on TV. A club member worked in the "edit industry" and told us about it when it went down. They had to repaint the cars and re-shoot scenes. Julius in the club worked on them after that and a did few things during the run when the cars were primarily in Bay Area.

I think it may be the same as the one from GYC. On TV shots with interior lighting seemed too blue. But an shot outside from their website seemed right...

You're right.

Owner said it was the same car.

IIRC, that orange 69 rr is a Moparts members car, an A12.

And the 69 charger R/T in the background is R6 with bright red interior... stunning combo. Was in an episode of the new Jeremy Clarkson TV show that was looking for a charger.

great car but it should have some Goodyear Polyglas redlines.
Not a big task considering the amount of money that has probably been spent

of the 57 HEMI Road Runners that I have fender tag info on - two are Q5

I currently have none in: B3, F3, L1, T7 rallye green, Bahama yellow, Petty blue
Being you live in Vegas you probably got my tag at the MATS already. Mine is a 1 of 1 Its the only one I have LOL

with a couple exceptions, I've judged "B-BODY stock" every year at MATS since it started & there have been some spectacular B-bodies there! up
