Wes,

What is included in this book? Does it contain the specifics for restoring one, with great detail on every subject? I mean like putting together the interior items of the doors (all the door glass, pop out windows, etc.), how to do the dash, etc., etc......

Not a restoration book. It's a data intensive book featuring every option available on the 69 RR. There's sections on VON's, Fender tag decoding by plants and the various marketing components used to sell Road Runners.

The book thoroughly goes through the bundled packages showing what was in them.

Also, I have two documented survivor cars each wearing V6_ and V7_ striping. The dimensions on where to place these stripes is covered. I believe this is the first time the dimensions on a V7_ painted car are ever going to be presented. Believe me when I say less than 1 in 10 optioned with this stripe have reapplied it back to their car. No one seems to know it's thickness or where it starts and stops. It will be disclosed in the book.

And finally, for the first time that I'm aware of (well, since they were new), the real reasons for the mid-year paint colors will be disclosed. And yes, there were DEFINITELY some very early 69 RR's (LA cars) painted in Rallye Green and Bahama Yellow.

Overall the book is 6 chapters with around 120 photos and 30K, most of which is dedicated to just the 69 RR.

In my acknowledgements I thank many of the people who helped create this book. I couldn't have done it without their love of B Body Plymouths and 69 RR's in particular.

I've also been collecting fender tag info on 69 RR's. I'm going to be releasing info on color combinations very shortly. I have 1,000 tags in my files.

For a couple reasons. First, we have to see if this style of book works. It would be foolish to publish three of them by investing a bunch of money and having the format fail. Unless you want to fund them out of your own pocket. up

Second. We have a book on the 70 RR that is slated to come out a year after this one.

I sold the Bee last fall. Pretty sure it will be there regardless as it stayed in the Midwest. See you there!

Oops! My eye spots a type-o on page 9. Wait! What! A 1968 Charger could be optioned with a "225-ci V6". Alright!

Wes, I wasn't challenging whether or not Chargers came with a 225ci six cylinder engine. However, to clarify, it was a Slant Six, not a “V6”.
