We have a monthly small local cruise night that I occasionally go to. It’s been a while since I’d had the 57 Plymouth out, so Friday I pulled it from hibernation gave it a bath and put on its annual fresh coat of wax. Like I said it’s a small cruise….. usually only 20-30 cars but there is usually something new that shows up. The 2 tone blue 52 DesSoto with the hood up is fresh out of the shop of a friend of mine. It’s a tight fit, but he managed to get a V10 in it (sorry I didn’t get any better pictures of it). All in all not a bad way to spend a Feb afternoon.
1957 Plymouth (Hemi, Dual Quads, A833 4 Speed 9 1/4 w 4.10) Sold 1937 Dodge Pickup (Hemi, 6X2 intake, 46RH, Dana 60 w 4.56) Sold 1968 Plymouth Valiant 2dr sedan (354 HEMI, 46RH w/4.30 gears)

Nice 57. Is that a poly motor?

“…..Is that a poly motor?.....” Naw, when I put it together I used a 56 354 (with Tri-Power) an A833 overdrive 4 speed and a 9 ¼” with 4.10 gears. It’s pretty low tech compared to what some of the guys here are doing with their old fin cars, but I still have a lot of fun with it.

I know this is one of those lame useless replies but; Nice car, thank you for posting. It gives some of us buried (really) in snow a lot of encouragement.

Just my opinion, but you have one of the nicest cars on all of Moparts. Yes, very sweet ride for sure. I just picked up a 57 Belvedere as my next project.
