Putting a 440 based 493 in a '71 Cuda. Was told it was an original 318 car. What do I need to do for mounts? Schumacher?

I think all you need is big block motor mounts. I don't recall doing anything special years ago when I put a 440 into a 340 Challenger.

If your car is an original v8 car, then you will need 383/440 motor mounts and brackets. They are pretty common as 1966-1972 d/c-body car mounts are th same and it will bolt right in. You will also need a transmission for a big block as the small block ones have a diffrent bolt pattern on the bellhousing.
