Anyone know the curent rules for an engine diaper? Do you need one based on MPH? How about NHRA super street (10.90) I am running a low deck big block What diaper fits well? I do have an aftermarket K frame so I do have a little more room. Any pics?

This seems to be a hit and miss thing. The rule book says 6.00 to 7.49 MUST run one. Yet I have heard of individual tracks requiring them. So I guess it depends on where you are racing. They are a great saftey feature IF you can get it on you're car. I still do'nt get how one can be installed on a car with a tie-rod tube and be legal. I have a dry-sump on my car now and have no idea how I could fit one. I talked to Dennis Ridgeway at the drag expo and he seemed willing to go out of his way to get me one that will fit. I would give him a try if you are going to run one. Bob
