Just found and bought this one owner 21K mile A12 '69 1/2 Road Runner 440-6bbl car. It's a rare factory T5 Bronze Fire Metallic car with a T7 Tan interior. This car was stored for years and raced some so it has some race modifications but nothing that couldn't be changed back. It also is 100% RUST FREE and original sheet metal and original lift off hood! Stored inside and rarely driven makes for a clean car! I'm excited to get it, just thought I would share...

Wow!!!
That's got to be one of the lowest mileage A-12 cars still in existence. Love to see finds like this.

Same color combo as my 69 Coronet R/T, at first I wasn't wild about that color combo but I really like it now,

I love the color. Nice seeing one in a color you don't see very often.
There was a beautiful T5 '69 roadrunner convertible with tan interior and white top running around this area for a while. The owner had got it cheap at a Mecum auction in the '08 or '09 timeframe. Probably didn't attract bidders because the masses turn their noses up at brown cars. Haven't seen it recently so not sure if it's still around.
Their loss because other than maybe torquise, I can't think of a color I'd rather see on a '69 than T5! drool

My Coronet 500 convertible is also T5 and a white top but it has a white interior, not sure how I ended up with 2 T5 cars, wish my A12 was T5 just to round out the set

I would put the 6bbl intake carbs and breather back on it and leave the rest as is and have fun with it, roll bar and all. Paint is nice in the pic.

I have one with 24k, I think there is one they claim has about 7800 +-. Most were drag cars. You don't put a lot of miles on one a quarter at the time.

Thanks all! Yes, I'm leaning towards leaving the mods for the most part and drive it as is. Just need to spiff, tweak and redo few things on it. The right front fender got a good crease in it when the original owner was moving it when in storage. The brake pedal went to the floor and couldn't stop it and hit something. Very repairable and will have that fixed this week. Yes, the car is 100% rust free and is an original Wisconsin car. Just goes to show you if you store them properly and don't drive in the winter they can be nice!

The old team car to my dads 70 duster he raced is still around. At one time it was less than 10K on it. Don't have pic of it on this computer. Was white with Orange Peeler on the side with an orange hood and orange super bird wing.

Yes, that fender was crushed pretty good and came out great! Me and a local body guy/painter teamed up on it at my shop. We are color sanding the paint, buffing and polishing the entire car now. It's turning out very nice!

Since your not flipping the urgency may not be the same.

Lovely car; kudos to the original owner for enjoying it and not messing it up in the process.

Thanks! The color match wasn't easy! We had the paint company come out ahead of time and use a color matching machine to get the color close. Well, when we got the paint it was waaaay off. My painter spent at least an hour tinting and test matching until it was right on. I'm very happy with the results!

I personally would leave the wheels, and roll bar in place IF the bar is nice. Too many of these cars are being put back to 100% stock, and are losing their personality.

Love the color, love the mods, I really dig this car.

Really nice work on the fender, can't wait to see more progress and whatever you do next.

Yes, I plan to keep a lot of the mods but just improve some things to make it look a little better and be more street friendly. I like the changes that were made to it when real A12 cars weren't worth anything. Fortunately the changes that made were minimal and done pretty nice.

The car could be changed back to all original and restored at anytime but why bother when it's got some history and a good look now! That's what I'm thinking...

That is a recently replaced NOS antenna... Radio not re-installed yet! After I get it all put back together I'll never listen to the radio anyway... rather hear the engine sounds and tires squealing! drive thumbs
