andy is the carb linkage you make for indy the same for the 426-8 indy crossram and the 440-25 indy crossram?
or do y6ou make a different setup for the indy hemi setup?
your throttle bracket and carb work great
are they interchangeable?
im thinking the indy crossram for the hemi might be the hot ticket over the MP crossram making much more power.

I make a 440-25L linkage kit for Indy but I do not make a kit for their "cross ram" Hemi. By "cross ram" I mean their inline carbs, cross ram intake.

I think that Indy does also use my 440-25L kit on their Hemi "cross ram" but I'm not positive. Probably contact Sam at Indy to see if it works or not. I've never had an Indy Hemi "cross ram" in my hands so I do not know if that linkage kit works with it or not. It should if the center to center distance on the carbs is the same.

Andy, i think a great test for you would be a hemi build with the MP Creossram and the indy hemi crossram comparison, i know its costly but i think it could have some valueable information with dyno numbers,A/F ratios ,etc.
you did the max wedge comparison and i think this would be a great learning experience. thanks for the reply.

I know were a few intakes that could be loaned for just such a test.

I might put together a Hemi motor project for one of the magazines. As far as I know, there hasn't been a Hemi project motor for a long time, (if ever). I don't ever recall anyone doing a series on the Hemi anyway and I've read every Mopar mag published for a long time.

We need one bad Andy, and the Hemi engine is more affordable than ever..not that its cheap but you know.
As many times as Moparmuscle magazine covered the Hemi Challenge, (it seemed like every issue) it never really gave us any meat and potatoes. None of the engine details people want to hear about. But pretty much who did what for power, and about the teams..Those articles could have been much better. Remember the Big block Engine shootout (popular Hot Rodding) with Dick Landy (RIP brother) at least they gave you detailed (color) photo's of what was inside those engines. I actually purchased a one year subscription just for that coverage. Your articles are always detailed and have great pictures. Which really means a bunch to I for one.
BTW
Congrats on your book AndyF
