In theory, there is no difference between theory and practice. In practice, there is.

A good set of springs are important ...especially in a stick car. It appears that you do not have a "matched-set" - right and left.

NOT good.

what do you mean matched - -this is how they came from mopar??? 1 side is left, 1 side is right - they are super stock - one side is heavier then the other. Counterbalance the driver ??? Matched????

Take a look at his part numbers. One has too many digits. Throw the 7 out and the number is correct.

Yes it will work, but If I remember correctly it will sit pretty high. The 3400 springs worked better. The best manual trans spring is 002/003 68 superstock springs.

I know this is a 8 year old thread. It was the only place I could find theses mopar leaf spring numbers. I took theses same exact springs out of my 71 cuda that I bought. Tried goggling the part numbers and nothing comes up but this page. Anyway, my questions are .
1) are theses springs really 3800 springs?
2) are theses springs too heavy duty for an A body? Friend of mine wants them for his A body and I knew they where ss springs but I really wanted to learn more about them. Thanks

I had some 003/003's in a 65 dart (came that way as a roller) & it rode real nice & firm & the height was fine with the 14's.
