My isky solid roller runs 250+ on the seat and 550+ open w/ .680-.660 lift and 275-280 dur@ .050 and I drive this car a LOT on the street and race it a little when I can. Same cam, springs and lifters for 4+ years of trouble free performance.

My ...I was having issues with breaking valve spring after 80or so runs. They were comp 944's @1.95 height. Right around 200lbs seat as I recall. So per advice I switched to k-950 k-motions at the same installed height broke those too. I since then have looked at the removed pressure to find that they were at 160-170 when removed both the comps and k-motions. Last year I replaced them with another set of comp 944's . This time I paid more attention to the coil bind and seal bind measurements and set them up around 1.86 installed which was about 270lbs on the seat (newly installed) as I recall. I'm at work and don't have my paperwork handy. I haven't lost one since. This was on the 23-770-9 comp .690 roller.

In this round of dyno testing I was using a street roller cam and Comp 26094-16 springs.

http://www.moparmusclemagazine.com/techa...lock/index.html

For the next round of testing we stepped it up to a slightly bigger cam and Comp 26097-16 springs. The second combination hammered out 800 hp at 7000 rpm and the springs were really fairly basic duals.

I set mine up at 250 to 275 on the seats and end up with 630 to 650 lbs open at .730 lift at the retainers, Comp Cam lobes, springs and retainers and locks on a set of Eddy RPM heads, this combination is run a street motor that I shift at 7000+ RPM I put two years of racing on the first set and have near that on the second set, 100 or more runs per year and 300 to 600 street miles. I had been using the Mopar brand of solid rollers and had two lifter wheels break in two so I have switch to a set of Engle now Don't skimp on the springs or roller lifters

Some roller lobes need more pressure than other, always get the recommended springs as the per the cam manufacturers recommendation. 557" RB Indy engine, comp custom solid roller with 285ish at 50. and .800+ lift with Jesel 1.7 rockers. I ran titanium retainers, PSI springs with about 300 seat, and 760 lbs open pressure. Spin it all day long to 7500+ rpm. has seen as high as 8K by accident

I was planning on running 250 pounds seat @ 2.000" install height and 710 pounds open @ 0.715" lift, but the 2.00" install height using +0.100" retainers and +0.050" locks are interfering with the rocker arms. If I go with standard locks the pressure goes up about 30 pounds.

300 on the seat and 700 open for my GTX on the street...maybe 500-750 miles per set of springs.
