First off I hate left and right!!!!!!

Anyway I have my 002 and 003 springs for my duster. Obviously the 002 is right and the 003 is left. Is that sitting in the car or looking at it from the front? Or in Layman's terms which is the pass and which is driver?

Thanks for taking the time to answer my dumb question.

The right side of a car is always the passenger's side. CHIP

The spring with more leafs goes on the right side of the car, the pass side, to counteract torque steer.

left and right are always after having been run over (looking at the rear of the vehicle).

for what is the good life if not doing things thoughtfully?

LOL thanks

The springs look great. I had to have my brother stand on the bumper so I could connect the shocks. Is this normal with the super stock springs?

You went through 3-4 MP shocks? Or different brand shocks?

3-4 MP shocks, as always there quality control sucks so one leaked and the other had the outer cover bent rubbing the lower housing

This how I remember which number is for what side. This works on everything I have checked when refering to factory part numbers if one side differs from the other.
Mopars odd numbered cylinders are on the drivers side (left). The factory and Mopar performance in this case, numbers which end with a odd number is for the left side. And even for the right. Just check this when you are disassembling something. I haven't found it to be wrong YET. I did say YET. BTW, I run the 002/003 with the long CE shock. They have worked good for me since I loosened the shock setting up. HTH, Beep

there is a YET to the story, Mopar has a 2800lb A-body SS spring where the even no. is the left side, why they did that I have no idea.

Mr Gasket used to sell shock extender brackets that would bolt to the bottom of the shocks. Maybe they still do...
And I never worry about the part numbers, as long as you know they are a matched set the spring with more leafs is intended for the right side, the pass side of the car, so it counteracts torque steer. A stiffer spring on the right will counteract a cars tendency to pick up the left side of the vehicle upon a hard launch, so the car launches level. Just like cars with factory rear coils put an air bag in the right side of the car for the same reason.
