I finally got off my rump and got busy on the tube chassis Lebaron I bought in early 2002. Payed alot of storage on it. Anyway I've got it all cleaned up and new tires, checked the brakes, greased the wheel bearings and polished the weld wheels. Engine is on the stand finished except for a coat of paint. Trans is finished except for t-brake and csr sheild which are on the way. Engine is a 383 block w/3.900 crank and nicely ported 915 closed chamber heads. Comp ratio is 11.5 to 1. Camshaft is solid flat tappet 272 at .050 w/ .605 lift at the valve. ported Victor 383 intake. 727 trans w/ 5400 conv. Rear is 9" w/ 4.10 gears. Car weighs 2300lbs w me in it. What do you guys in Moparland think it should run?

I went that fast with a junkyard headed sm. block mopar at 3100lbs. I hope for 9.00s or even 8.90s with a big block and 800lbs less weight. I could be dead wrong. The time slips in mid march will provide an answer. I can't wait.

What about the Demon. Are you keeping it, or time to move on?
