Which is the best aftermarket rb intake to use on a cuda with factory shaker? im tired of messing around with my 6bbl and want to try a single 4.
I will likely use my fiteck setup as well......engine is 505cid with ported eddy heads roller cam stock compression

Holley Street Dominator, low profile single plane that makes great power. We put an Airgrabber setup on my buddies 69 RR and only had to trim a small amount off of the air cleaner base carb neck to get the height perfect.

The Indy DP has worked well for me and is shorter than the Performer RPM if hood clearance is an issue

The Indy DP works for me and is not as tall as a performer rpm

I used a Holley SD as well in my 69 GTX, 496 with are grabber. I had to shave the air cleaner a bit to get the hood closed but everything fits. Runs real well

for 500" a PORTED Street Dominator. Worth at least .10-.15 over an unported one.

The Indy 440-2D is another good choice, but the lower plenum needs some radius work in the runners to get it to flow with the upper. The Performer RPM is a great manifold, but too tall unless you run a drop base air cleaner.

The MP 337 is listed as a Max Wedge but the head mating port size as delivered is really about 1/2 way between a standard 906 size port and a true Max Wedge...probably could make it work and it's a nice flowing manifold.

I have used the SD with air grabber on a 1970--worked out well--It acts like a governor on a well done 500 CI though--easy 570 and up HP any way you do it though and that will make most folks smile SD is easily available and works way better than you would think by looking at it and..pretty cheap

I had an Indy intake and Dominator carb under my Shaker. Dropped the K about 5/8", fabbed a drop base into the Shaker base, and eventually made a new air cleaner lid out of fiberglass that almost touched the inside of the Shaker bubble.

With those mods, you could run 'most any intake you want. And set the Shaker bubble height in the hood the way it should be rather than just accept the way it ends up.

Master, again and still
