Oh, and the center badge is separate from the wings, there is a stud through the center with a nut..

I have the remains of a grill shell from a 1925 Chrysler that has the same center part. That is recessed into the shell, there is no recess, nor is the room for the wings. I wonder if it might be for a Chrysler Airflow? Wouldn't be beyond the concept of adding the wings to the earlier badge for something special like the Airflow was suppose to be. Gene

i thought i had the answer. i have the exact item that came from the deck lid of a '36 chrysler royal. that is, until my "wings" measured only a tad over 6" in length. [that means oz's wings are BIGGER than my wings !] how big are your HANDS oz ? biggrin but i think the the airflow cars had a big wing below the rear window. my guess is it belongs to one of those. good garage art score ! up

I just spent ages trying to run down a "Flying Lady" for my '33...no luck. So the missus got me another flying lady from a '31 Caddy I think.

No sooner did that arrive, than one of my boys found an original '33 for me! Lucky guy.

While I was searching, I found several Pinterest thingies with many old hood emblems, and I seem to recall seeing one or two like yours. Plus if you do a Google search for Chrysler emblems, I have a hunch it might show up there. Worth a try anyway. Good luck.
