P4510633. Anyone ever use one? I'm considering one of these because I like the idea of staying with Holley carbs. Im not really wanting to learn Edelbrock carbs and starting over with tuning supplies and reading.

Also, is there a progressive throttle linkage kit available?

Yes I have. My engine is 540", 4.5" stroke. CR is 10.78 with MP Aluminum heads and solid street roller 248/254 @ .05. The car is heavy, 4,175lb with 3.54 gear. I liked the intake as it is dual plane with Vanke like plenum mods. It works very well on the street compared to the Stage V single plane I started with.
No one makes a progressive linkage, I run a solid that opens both carbs at once.
You will have to build your own fuel lines, I did mine out of stainless tubing, not easy.
Also, you will have to use an aftermarket air cleaner for the bore spacing and air horn size on the Hollys.

For progressive linkage I just lengthened the stock rod.

Mancini or Hughes have the 1:1 throttle linkage kit. That intake doesn't seem to be very popular compared to the Stage V intake. I sell about 50x the linkages for the Stage V intake than the Hemi Marine.

I did the opposite of Hemi Ragtop and went from the Marine to the Stage V on a mild engine with Edelbrock carbs.
I should have just left it alone. The Marine is an excellent Street/Strip intake.

Thanks guys. It doesnt look like there is no way to run double pumpers, so are you bigger cube guys running 750 vacuums with side hung floats?

Andy, I ran the Stage V for several years. It is a good intake, not doubt. But my engine peaks at 5,900 rpm due to the small cam etc. With no other changes, the switch to the Marine dual plane picked up the bottom and midrange noticeably.

Most people want a high RPM 800 HP HEMI, I drive mine a lot, my car is heavy, 4175lb., and a 3.54 gear with a 727 and Gear Vendor. This is the combo that I enjoy driving, sometimes like cruising the cost, for 300 miles in a single week. That is just me.

With a small cam, gear, and heavy car, I enjoy TORQUE!

Here is what the set up looks like. Again, be prepared to make your own fuel line. It gets pretty busy on the driver side with linkage, fuel lines and kickdown cable (Bouchelon) all crammed on one side and tucked under the Classic Haulage air filter!

You sir, have a beautiful car, with a really tidy install of that hemi. I see what you mean with it being crowded on the drivers side.
I like the familiarity of a holley, but not sure the mandatory vacuum carbs that this manifold requires are something i want for a hot-ish street setup.
Might just slap a ram on it with a couple of 4150's.
Choosing intakes on these things is like buying a firearm. One advantage here, with two disadvanges there. One disavantage here, two positives here. Gives me a headache. whiney

Since you paid me a nice complement, I will give you some good advice, put a stock set up on your engine. Let's face it, Dave Dudek, my hero when it comes down to running a HEMI in a full bodied car with massive restrictions, runs in the 9s with a STOCK INTAKE AND CARBS.
Granted, the intake and carbs are worked to the max, but it just proves that the stock set up is capable of huge power.
When you go stock, or Eddie carbs, you buy everything out of the catalog, and it bolts right on. The hassle of making the fuel lines convinced me that I had made a poor choice.

"My engine is 540", 4.5" stroke. CR is 10.78 with MP Aluminum heads and solid street roller 248/254 @ .05."

You engine is very similar to mine. When I was choosing the final components for it last winter, I spoke to Lazzeri at Indy Cyl Heads at the Indy show. He strongly recommended the dual plane intake. I was very doubtful, enough so that I bought the dual plane AND their single plane Dominator intakes and ran them back to back on the dyno.

The engine pulled to 6,800, which my wedge experience told me that the DP was a non-starter. Well, the DP only gave up 10hp @ 6,800 but made 9hp more @ 4,000. And of course, the DP made significantly more torque throughout.

Bottom line; the DP not only averaged more torque as would be expected, but averaged more horse power, too. Quite a surprise.

I realize that I am running single Dominators and this post is about dual quads, but I suspect that the dual plane would still shine. Especially on a street car.

Does anyone know if Dudek runs a dual plane due to class rules or because it outperforms the single planes?

Master, again and still

I have a new one with a new heat shield on it I would sell if you're interested. I tried it and my engine liked the stage v better.
