Well, it is concrete that some '72 340 Dusters came std with drums. My first '72 had drums and I bought it new.

BTW, just because something is std doesn't mean it can't be deleted.
A cigar lighter was std but could be deleted. The window sticker on my car showed a $4.00 credit for the delete.

Thanks branded for the link .... I still seems that at one point in 1972 disc brakes were standard then at another point in 1972 they were optional....

Yes Bee it seems that some 1972's had Disc brakes as an option and some did not .... I also own a 1971 Duster 340 with non power drum brakes and for years I thought that if it was a Factory 340 car that it had to have disc (power or not) It is now evident that is not the case ....

I have NEVER seen anyone have a bad word to say about Barry, he is an asset here...

The only time people seem to get upset is if they are trying to pull something and Barry calls them out. Not saying this is the case here, but that is the only time I have seen anything similar at least over many years.

I had a '72 Demon 340. It had 10" manual drum brakes. It was a pretty bare bones car, column shift auto, bench seat and rallye wheels were about it.

slantzilla, You actually bring up a good point, I wonder if Dodge and Plymouth were the same as far as Standard equipment goes.
