So, I think my 71 Challenger TQ has developed the sinking float syndrome.
The old poly carbonites appear to be absorbing gas after 45 years are are getting heavy and beginning to sink allowing fuel to dump into the carb.
Does someone make repro floats for the 71 TQ? Can I retrofit a 72 and up to make it work?

if no answer you might call "the carburetor shop" in Eldon Missouri (Google it) & he would know. He sells premium ($$$) carb kits & even mfr's his own jets/rods. He ain't cheap tho

Is there a way to repair/seal my original floats?

Steve, I see lots of TQ floats on ebay, but I think the 1971s are unique. Are the ones you found on ebay for a 1971 TQ?

Not sure if it'll fit but they have brass and phenolic floats.

I wouldn't recommend using the new brass floats on the market, they are not exact copies and have leak issues due to bad solder joints. The phenolic floats are great and are one size fits all years.
