I just came across this post and I'm stunned to hear about the passing of Rick. Sometime back I helped to arrange for him the purchase of a local A12 car that I knew of that had been hidden away for many years.

I am very sad to hear of Rick's passing. Dealt with him a few times over the years. He sold a Bahama yellow A12 road runner to my brother, he helped me load my B5 A12 super bee when I bought it and recently I sold him Wally Booth's 69 Super Bee. Always a nice and easy guy to deal with. My heart goes out to his family and friends.

Besides being a Mopar and A12 guy he was quite an avid fisherman and golfer....loved the great outdoors, hockey and rock and roll. He had plenty of friends from all walks of life.....

Glad to have known you Rick, lots of laughs that I will always remember. RIP

Scott

I had the pleasure of speaking with Guy (Ricks brother) at the wake and told him about the support Rick has received on Moparts. He texted me this message:

Hi Jeff. This is Guy, Rick's brother. I just went through the forum thread. It was amazing to read all the wonderful comments. Rick truly had so many friends from so many of his passions - Mopar, fishing, hockey, golf, etc.

Please comment on the thread that you heard from me and how much it meant to me to see all the Mopar love.

Guy

Sounds like the kind of guy that truly embodied "Service before Self" and actually would "Walk the Talk".

I don't think I ever chatted with him here, but it sounds like he was a dynamic individual and will be missed by many. My best regards to his family and friends. He left us far too early.

RIP Rick.

Such a shame, one of the nicest persons on the board. Wish I could have met him in person, probably would have been a real hoot to hang with. We will miss him, he was a true gentleman.
